Amidst perfectly pleasant fall weather and beneath the shining stars, Sycamore Valley Wine Dinners debuted in October at Maderas on our second patio near Sunset Rock.

Sycamore Valley Wine Dinners are a new secondary Wednesday dining offering at Maderas that gathres guests at farmtables for family-style dining, fine wine and an entree served hot from a gourmet grille stationed outside.

Diners began to gather on a patio lit by market lighting and a setting sun around 5 p.m. to enjoy a pre-dinner drink and sample an artisan cheese board complete with cheeses, salami, fruit and nuts.

While guests dined, a latin guitar player entertained, adding a fun and festive air to a most comfortable and enjoyable outdoor evening.

While guests conversed, our chefs were preparing entrees of flat iron skirt steak, herb-marinated Jidori chicken breast, locally sourced tuna and Kurobuta pork chop.

Served continued until 8 p.m. with groups being seated every 30 minutes. The dinners can accommodate up to 40 patrons.

A delicious apple crisp completed a gourmet evening and a well-received debut of our new dining concept.

If you’d like to be part of future Sycamore Valley Wine Dinners at Maderas, please call 858.217.2561. The dinner itself is $39 with an additional $15 for wine. Our wine selection will rotate, but the menu options for now will remain the same. Who’s ready to dine al fresco at Maderas and enjoy fall’s harvest bounty with us?
