Dining at Maderas is changing in 2017, but for those who enjoy our themed dinners, it’s all good news: Get ready to join us twice each month!

In lieu of its regular Wednesday Burger Nite, Maderas is shifting toward twice-monthly themed dinners, which are currently held once a month. The second Wednesday of the month will feature many familiar favorite themes (Mardi Gras, Oktoberfest, Lobster and Bubbly, etc.), but the schedule for the last Wednesday of the month will be akin to a culinary West Coast road trip, with a different stop every month, starting in Baja and ending up in Vancouver! Baja begins this dining journey on Jan. 25 and San Diego will have its own theme night the last Wed of Feb.

Maderas General Manager Michael Flickinger said the shift is in response to dining demand and changing habits at Maderas, but those who regularly patronize and enjoy the club’s theme dinners should be thrilled that second line-up of themed dinners has been added.

“Our patrons have always enjoyed ‘taking a trip’ to various culinary locations with Chef Earl at the wheel. The West Coast ‘road trip’ is an extension of that concept,” Flickinger said.

Flickinger added that the regular Wednesday Burger Night may return on the current Wednesday off nights in the spring, when the change of seasons allows for popular patio dining and the club notices a seasonal shift in attendance.
