It’s turning into quite a close to 2016 for two of the pros who practice at Maderas – the PGA Tour’s Brendan Steele and the LPGA’s In-Kyung Kim – and instructor Chris Mayson. Each has notched wins recently on their respective tours, with Kim winning twice on the LPGA.
Her first win came at the European Masters in Germany and was followed five weeks later by a win in the LPGA’s Reignwood Classic in China, where she shot a stunning 24-under. She’s now in the top 30 in the world rankings!
Steele notched his second PGA Tour win with a victory at the rain-soaked Safeway Open in Napa Valley to kick off the 2016-17 PGA Tour season. In his post-round interview, Steele credited his work at Maderas with Mayson for his strong play and improved putting and mental game.
Mayson said the impressive results reflect the quality of instruction that the Maderas staff provides daily.
“I am so proud of all our students at MGA,” Mayson said. “I am honored that the very best players in the world trust their golf game to the coaches at Maderas.”
Congrats to all of you on behalf of Maderas!
